Brilliant value from a welcoming resort.
Brilliant service, great food and a thoroughly enjoyable time- I would totally and unequivocally urge anyone to book and enjoy a holiday here. Rooms and clean and spacious- though with the typical Egyptian approach to fixing and maintenance where light fittings aren’t quite always straight, doors and door frames needing slight repairs and properly fixing and tiles around the bath need a little more attention to detail and tidying up. However- don’t let any of that our you off- at all- as they all add to the charm! The staff are always helpful, courteous and attentive and always eager to please. Towels always out in the right place from Gimeel (‘Jimmy’), drinks bought over to us by Ahmed or Alaa and our wonderful towel art which included a single swan, 2 swans, a highly inventive crocodile and on our last day- a swinging monkey! All from our really lovely cleaner Ahmed. We went on a glass bottom boat trip booked through the hotel, but beware not to buy a pineapple cocktail at the shoreline bar during the trip as a couple we were with ended up paying £20 for just 2 pineapples with straws and a strawberry! We also had a wonderful scrub treatment at the Parrotel’s really nice health club and massage which was really good. We also explored the Soho Square area during an evening- which was clean, up market and well worth doing. One thing that could be improved would be the temperature of the pools as I found them too cold to go in- including the apparently heated one that seemed to be at the same temperature as the non heated one. Just bear it in mind if going in March as we did. I would imagine it’s brilliant later in the year as the water park has a wave machine and plenty of slides! We plan to go back in September time. In summary- a great value trip to a place that is really welcoming and friendly.
First time in Egypt in a wheelchair
Nice hotel with very friendly staff, good choice of food in the Resturant, rooms were a bit dated and dark but clean and tidy. As i am in a wheelchair I found the resort to be a bit difficult with the hills and it was very dark at night, I have to give a good mention to Gmail who works at the main pool because if if wasn’t for him pushing me around the resort and taking me to the shops my family would have to had pushed me everywhere. He also went over and above his duties of pool manager by carrying me in and out of the pool , he came with us to go out to Soho Square at night for meal he made my holiday very enjoyable and he couldn’t do enough for me and my family. I would also like to mention the hotel manager Mr Mohammad who was very accommodating to my needs regarding the room. All staff could not do enough in and out of hotel.
Large family holiday
Spent 2 weeks with family here in February. Booked through travel agent, states its 4 star I wouldn't agree with that star. However, the hotel is very clean, the rooms are large with two bathrooms in the rooms we stayed in. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Really went above and beyond could not fault them. Our children and all adults loved the aqua park there was enough for everyone to do. Loved that we could visit the beach resort and still have use of our all inclusive bands. Spent a day at the beach and enjoyed drinks, snacks and the kids club staff were about offering activities. Food was lovely different meals daily. For the price we paid it was well worth the money.
