The most amazing place to visit

Mar 2022 | X1149ZGnicoles

The staff literally bend over backwards to assist you with anything you want. They call everyday to see if there is anything you need. I happened to mention we pushed the beds together to keep warm because it was a windy night then we went to dinner. When we got back to our room there was a heater in there for us. the food is delicious. We are vegan and we were catered for at every meal. One day I told the head chef I don’t eat meat the next meal there were even more vegetarian dishes available! Even though there was more than enough already. My belly was full everyday. The hotel entertainment is fantastic. There is amazing pools, a funfair and arcades that are fantastic for the whole family. Every member of staff that I interacted with was sooooo courteous. I wanted to learn some Arabic and they all helped me. The place is sooooooooo clean. There are staff working round the clock 24 hours a day keeping it in pristine condition. The gym is also beautiful and fully equipped and a great place to work out. There is absolutely nothing I can fault about this hotel. I am well travelled and have seen many resorts and this one is definitely up there with the best. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back. If you want a guaranteed good relaxing holiday this is the place to come to. They have everything you could possibly want and if they don’t I’m sure they’ll find it for you. Sending lots of love to all the amazing staff here, thank you for making my daughters 10th birthday one she will never forget. Room 5011 07/03/22-14/03/22

Great hotel

Mar 2022 | Neginnad

This was our second stay in this hotel. The hotel is really amazing with lots of activities and very friendly stuff. The food was very delicious. There are lots of amazing attractions like the Aquapark. Everything was very clean and tidy. We enjoyed every minute of our stay there. Special thanks to the receptionist Ziad who made our stay more pleasant. He helped us in every situation and answered every question we had perfectly. Thank you very much Ziad! You are very helpful and competent.

Local Data Sims and Vegetarians

Mar 2022 | jay2jay99

It’s taken a while to get around to writing a review but wanted to make sure I did, life is always busy. My wife, two young boys (3&4) and I travelled from 25th Nov - 12th Dec. The weather was lovely but found the pool temperatures quite cold, just about bearable. The kiddies pool with the slides was better and more comfortable. But other than that the climate was very nice. Other people will tell you about the water park and bars etc so will leave that to them, I’ll just mention a couple of aspects that may be of interest to some: Local data sims and vegetarian food Internet: Do not get a SIM card at the airport! I went against advice we’re the hotel said some people got less data but no one knew why, even the hotel staff. I got a 25GB Orange sim for 225 LE (about £11/$14) just after landing, I confirmed twice that it was 25GB and they said yes. All was fine at first but yeah, it died at around 12GB. I later went to an Orange shop in Senzo Mall and they confirmed that the sim I was sold is a “social media” only sim (they don’t tell you this at the airport) so you get 25GB if you only use social media, it goes twice as fast if you don’t! So don’t buy at the airport, depending on the time you land get the driver to stop at Senzo mall on the way to the hotel or go the next morning (take your passport). Here go to Etisalat, it’s a kiosk just outside Spinneys supermarket. I got a deal for 25GB with 25GB bonus and 150min with 150min bonus (so 50GB data and 300min) for 275 LE (£13/$17.50) it was more than we could use and lasts about a month I think. You can also get some duty free at Senzo Mall if you go within 48hrs of landing, it’s hard to buy branded alcohol otherwise. We put the sim in a MiFi box (TP-Link M7000) that we brought from home and that broadcast the internet for our phones, kids iPad’s and even an Amazon Fire stick for the TV. In the hotel we were in room 5222 and actually had wifi in our room there from the lobby area, it was ok but we kept having to go for a fresh voucher as it would run out but they never charged for more or had any issues. Block 5*** seems to have wifi and are mostly family rooms, 52** is on the same floor as the foyer and makes it real easy to go to reception/breakfast/dinner etc. Food from a vegetarian perspective: We are all vegetarian. Firstly, the kitchen staff were brilliant and bent over backwards to try to help us. Every time we went to eat, without prompting one of the main staff, a manager or a head chef would walk the buffet with us and go over what vegetarian options there were and towards the end of the holiday they were even preparing meals especially for us, at breakfast they would ask if there was something we would like for dinner and they would make it for us, brilliant service indeed. The choices were a bit limited though and we did start to get a bit bored of cheese… But we were aware that we were the minority and in time as more and more vegetarians come through there the selection will improve. Egypt just doesn’t have meat replacement options like we do in the UK. For the meat eaters, the selection looked amazing and you would not be disappointed, and btw, the cakes….omg, spoilt daily! But again, hats off to all the kitchen staff, even right down to the guy standing in the corner of the buffet area waiting to tidy whatever was needed. They all did great! Look forward to hopefully one day being able to return.
